HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY FROM EVERYONE AT AVON ROMANCE

On behalf of everyone here at Avon Romance, I want to wish you all a Happy Valentine's Day!

Of course, this is the Big Day of the Year around here and we celebrate it by...working. Oh, and also foraging for candy, though I haven't seen any yet. (Surely the deliveries will start after lunch...)

Of course, everyone thinks of Valentine's Day as the day when all the couples in the world pair up and make googly eyes at each other over dinner...and woe to you if you don't have a "significant other!"

But I've always maintained that this is a great day to just celebrate the things we love...so here's a short list of what we've all been gaa-gaa over here at Avon Romance.


1) UNO, THE DOG: The very mention of this adoreable little Beagle makes our hearts melt. And yes, yours truly went to the dogshow and saw Uno get his standing ovation.

2) SPRING TRAINING: As of this writing, there are only 13 days, 39 minutes and 30 seconds till spring training. That means opening day isn't far behind. (Major League Baseball) Who says women don't love sports? We each have our favorite players, so I won't play favorites here. You'll have to ask.

3) OSCAR, OSCAR, OSCAR: Do we have an Oscar pool? You bet we do! And don't think we're not all talking about who wore what the next day...we might have missed the rowdy Golden Globes, but at least we have Oscar!


4) This is a picture of chocolate. Need I say more?

5) We LOVE that we have Monday off! (see image above). Happy Presidents Day (or is it Presidents' Day?)

So, on this day of love, take a few moments to think about who you love...or think about what is great in the world around you.
