The holidays are rapidly approaching.
What? They're still months away, you might say. To which, I smile.
Most publishers release their holiday novels and anthologies in October. Have you been to the bookstore this month? It's already Christmas there.
Weeks are like days here in my household. Despite the lack of a true "changing of the seasons", I still feel the holiday spirit creeping in. I live in Southern California, so our weather is pretty much the same all year long. A little rain (rarely; CA suffers frequent droughts), a little chill (might need a light sweater). Not much more than that. The trees keep their leaves, the grass stays green and lush, patio furniture is still on sale at Wal-Mart. But the mood of the holidays is slowly working its way into my town, regardless.
I love the holidays! I'm blessed with small children who remind me of the meaning of the holidays (and all the presents on their lists...) nearly every single day for the last three months of the year. I love the music, the food, the movies and TV shows, the decorations, and the joy.
And, of course, I love those holiday books. Do you have any recommendations for me? Which holiday titles are your favorites and/or which ones are you looking forward to?

Hmm..I don't think I've read any "Holidy" romances. The closest I've come is maybe "Devil in Winter" by Lisa Kleypas.....
I'm in Florida and it NEVER feels like the holidays. Some years we are actually out by the pool!

My kids are already making their christmas lists. LOL.
I'm heading to the bookstore tomorrow and can't wait to see all the holiday books on the shelves!

I love the holidays! I have two young children who are also already starting their Christmas list. My son's birthday is next week, so we hear that list daily too lol. The holidays to me are about family, hope, and possibility. I love that time of year. I usually have bought more holiday anthologies by this time in October, but have not yet this year. I am looking forward to The Perfect Gift by Maya Banks, Annmarie McKenna, Kate Davies, Stacia Wolf, and MacKenzie McKade. I also intend to buy I'm Your Santa by Karen Kelley, Lori Foster, and Dianne Castell. I'm sure I will find more, but I know I'm getting those two. :)

I love the holidays, too. I also have two small children who tell me during every toy commercial, "Mommy I want that for Christmas!" LOL
I have a Christmas book in my TBR pile - A Highlander For Christmas by Sandy Blair. I've heard nothing but good things about it, but I'm trying to hold off reading it until it gets a little closer to Christmas. I also love Christmas anthologies and that reminds me that I need to head to the bookstore to check some out!

I adore the holiday books that come out from different series like Harlequin Blaze or Silhouette Desire there always hot reads to warm your holidays, their short enough to read between shopping excusions or parties. Got to get ideas for a little holiday romance at home:)
