Lest Old Acquaintance...

Today, the long-anticipated new novel from Kathleen E. Woodiwiss, EVERLASTING, will finally hit the shelves.

As those lucky reviewers who could get their hand on the precious few advance copies could tell you, it was well worth the wait.

We at HarperCollins are gearing up to celebrate the publication of this book and Kathleen's life as the mother of this incredible genre we love.

And we're not the only ones!

But, wait, that's not all!

Confession time: I came to Ms. Woodiwiss later than some and, while her stories will never lose their luster, I have to admit that she had a few covers I thought were...well...a little bit dated. But the incredible art geniuses we have here have come to the rescue. We have reissued her backlist with brand new (and I have to say stunningly gorgeous) covers. *I know that you always have a special place in your heart for the cover that was on the book the first time you read it. But, really, the new THE FLAME AND THE FLOWER art gives me chills.*

What do you think it is that makes a Kathleen E. Woodiwiss romance "A Woodiwiss"? Have you ever read anything else that gave you that same “wow” feeling after you finish?

Major confession here: I've never read Ms. Woodiwiss. Does that make me a bad person? I hope not because I love children and I'm kind to small animals!

But I will make a point to read the classics.

Best,
Mary C.

It's out?! OMG! Get me to the bookstore pronto--because while I got to see a finished book earlier in the month--I wasn't given one for my long, laborious plane ride home . . . hint. hint. hint.
