First, apologies for not posting for awhile. Not only have we all been off for the holidays, but there have been some changes going on at Blogger that we've had to get through. Needless to say, it's been a crazy time of year. I went to the mall on the 24th and I'm lucky I'm alive to tell about it.
I have also continued my quest to Eat My Way Through December. I spent Christmas Eve/Christmas Day with family in upstate New York, where turkey, ham and leg of lamb (but no roast beast!) each appeared before me. This all in addition to a continual parade of snacks.
Tomorrow I'm up bright and early to catch a flight to Oregon. I have to get on a prop plane, so you can all envision me quaking as I board!
Have I done any reading? Nope. But I promise to return shortly with recommendations for 2007, which is shaping up to be one of Avon's best years ever. In the meantime, I hope you have all had a wonderful holiday!

Ok, after not having been here for quite some time (blame my 3 kids and the Christmas preparations that took over my life!) I just want to make a couple of observations:
1. LOVELOVELOVE the new look (testament to how long I've not been here? It's probably looked like this for ages already) Love the new icons (you girls look waay cool!)
And 2. Lucia, I think your family and mine must be closely related (hey, my mother is adopted-- it's possible!) because I've never known...
a) anyone else who calls roast beef 'roast beast' like my family does (it's The Grinch influence)
and b) No one else we know even knows about The Bishop's Wife, let alone adores it like we do.
Just wondering, how do you feel about 'It's A Wonderful Life'?
