Because an editor's life is such a glamourous one, I had dinner last night with super-author Victoria Alexander and her agent. You learn some fun facts over dinner. For example, I learned that Victoria's favorite Christmas movie of All Time is THE MUPPET CHRISTMAS CAROL. She makes her whole family sit down and watch it every year.

Victoria is from Omaha, which is also the hometown of Johnny Carson, Fred Astaire, and the annual site of the College World Series. Given how cute the college world series baseball players reputedly are, this sounds pretty exciting.
