As we head into the new year, we have some happy announcements.

First, from Carrie Feron:

I am happy to announce that Tessa Woodward has been promoted to Assistant Editor continuing to report to me. Tessa has been with the Avon Romance group since September 2005. A graduate of Dartmouth College and the Columbia Publishing Course, she has made herself invaluable to the Morrow/Avon group. While continuing to help work with my authors, she has begun to edit on her own and has shown herself to be a discerning reader. Please join me in congratulating Tessa on her well deserved promotion.

Next, (but by no means second) from Lucia Macro and Erika Tsang:

We are delighted to announce that Esi Sogah has been promoted to Assistant Editor, continuing to report to us. Esi joined the Morrow/Avon editorial team more than a year ago, after completing her masters degree in English Literature from Penn State University. She has already begun to build her own list while continuing to effectively meet the demands of two busy editors. Authors and agents alike have commented on her organization, helpfulness, and professionalism. Please join us in congratulating Esi on her well deserved promotion.
