‘Tis the Season
This time of year, the Avon Romance department is the envy of the floor. Throughout the month of December, our authors thank their editors with generous gifts: fruit baskets, wine, and boxes (and boxes and boxes) of chocolates.
We get such a generous amount of goodies that we throw an end-of-the-year party and invite all our colleagues. It's fun to gather around the table and try to guess which author sent what.
So, I'd like to take this opportunity to say a big THANK YOU to our authors, who take the time to send us that box full of kettle-cooked potato chips, Harry Potter clock, Starbucks gift card, or year membership to the flower-of-the-month club, not to mention the sweatshirt that lights up, the peppermint pigs, and the 24-inch wheel of assorted salami.
You bless us with the gift of your books all year round and, then, to be twice blessed during the holidays makes us all feel extra special.
