Before I head off on vacation (to an undisclosed, wireless location), I'm attending the Washington Romance Writers conference at the (Haunted) Hilltop House in Harper's Ferry, WV. Attending will be Avon's own Cathy Maxwell, Julia Quinn, Kathryn Caskie, Sophia Nash (and hopefully no one who I have forgotten to mention).

This is less "conference" and more "workshop" and definitely fun. I always feel like I'm at Vassar College circa 1952, and those who've even been there will know what I mean.

PS--I've never seen a ghost, but plenty of attendees have!
