It was another busy day at RWA (hey that rhymnes!), beginning with breakfast with Editor May Chen and nearly 15 AvonRed authors including the authors of PARLOR GAMES and IF THIS BED COULD TALK. They were rowdy and so excited about being in on the ground floor of this new Avon imprint.
Then I had lunch with the wonderful Cathy Maxwell and her daughter. Cathy's been missing from RWA in recent years and we are all so happy she's come off her horse farm for the conference. She is known far and wide as one of the industry's nicest and most gracious authors.
Then it was off to a signing and event at the Margaret Mitchell House and Museum. Speaking and signing were Meg Cabot of Princess Diaries fame, Stephanie Laurens, Susan Elizabeth Phillips, and Julia Quinn. It was exciting for us all to see where Atlanta trailblazer Margaret Mitchell wrote GWTW. She was a newspaper reporter and daredevil who had an amazing life.
Now it's early to bed. My feet hurt!
