Well, I wish it was more exciting...
 
Since 11 AM, I have:
1) learned that I am not only re-writing two pieces of back cover copy, but also two pieces of galley copy;  gave them all initial reads. Heaved large sigh.

2) written a letter to an author asking for a quote

3) answered the 25 emails that sprung up during lunch

4) proofread two back ads; approved one contract amendment

5) followed up with agent re: missing-in-action contract

6) from noon till 2ish, had lunch with super-author Eloisa James and Pam Spengler-Jaffee in publicity.
 
Now I'm back. Um, you notice I haven't been reading any manuscripts yet!
